Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Build and document robust APIs and services.
• Implement algorithms to solve geospatial challenges.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to the requirement analysis and technical design.
• Write technical documentation.
• Write functional, unit, and integration tests.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks / Lab / Hub.
• Experience with Git & Docker.
• Working experience with JavaScript, either on the front (pref. React) or backend (NodeJS) will be a strong plus.
• Ability to perform basic Devops tasks will be a plus. We have a dedicated infrastructure team, but we encourage autonomy.
• A strong sense of ownership over the platform and its functionalities.
• Ability to understand business goals and communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Be proactive in communicating ideas and challenges. We expect everyone to think out of the box and be creative beyond the confines of role definitions.
• Curiosity and the willingness to learn and evolve as an individual and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English.
