Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Build robust data systems and pipelines.
• Understand different data velocities.
• Combine raw information from external & internal sources.
• Work closely with solution architects, software engineers, product owners and business developers.
• Evaluate business needs and objectives.
• Handle data migrations.
• Design and implement data lake architectures.
• Discover, interpret & present trends and patterns on data.
• Keep up with the latest technologies / improvements on the data engineering domain.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of production-level experience in big data manipulation, using Python & Pandas solving complex problems.
• Solid experience with tools in the larger Python ecosystem.
• Proven expertise in building robust data pipelines using cloud-native and open source tools.
• Working experience with cloud native tools / services.
• Experience with AWS, Athena, Presto, dusk, kafka, Airflow, and MinIO will be a plus.
• Professional experience in geospatial/transportation/logistics related projects will be a strong plus.
• Familiarity in using Git as SCM tool.
• Out of the box thinking, curiosity and willingness to learn and evolve as an individual and as part of team.
• Fluency in English.
