Banking Officer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Venture Capital & Investment Firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Banking Officer to join their expanding team. The successful applicant should hold 4+ years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within a Financial/Corporate Services company or Consulting firm.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Key Skills/Experience:
- Opening bank accounts with international banks.
- Changing bank signatories and signatory rights for existing bank accounts.
- Liaise with banks to provide requested due diligence information as per their ongoing KYC process.
- Updating banks on changes in company structures and providing banks with the relevant due diligence documentation to document such changes.
- Administering the internal systems of bank account information within the company.
- Submission of payments and updating the information on payments in the accounting software.
- Communication with administrators, investors, portfolio companies, banks on all matters related to payments.
- Signing of operational documents internally and with external counterparties relating to banking matters.
- Provision of data on payments for financial and management accounting.
- Assist operations team and wider organization with ad-hoc requests in relation to payments and bank information.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Finance, business administration or legal degree.
- 4+ years of previous work experience in a similar role in a financial/corporate services company or consulting.
- Fluency in English. Any additional languages are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Eye for detail, able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
