CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established Software Development company with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Service Desk Administrator to join their team. The successful applicant will ideally hold an academic background relating to Information Technology and have some previous professional experience providing Technical Customer Support to clients relating ideally to Software-related issues. Excellent communication skills in Greek and English are a must as well as excellent client service skills.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 
  • Handle all the customer requests including support incidents, user management/system administration requests and products/solutions change requests.
  • You will act as our customers interface with the development team, handling all their requests, making sure these are attended and providing accurate and timely updates to all parties.
  • Engage when needed with project delivery, assisting in the preparation of material, organising and facilitating team meetings, functions and workshops as well as during testing and release process.
  • Responsible to evaluate which issues can be handled and resolved by the Service Desk and which shall be escalated to other teams.
  • Any other relevant tasks as assigned by Management.
 
Key Skills/Experience:
 
  • Ideally Educated to Degree level in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 1+ years of previous experience in a Service Desk and/or Technical Support capacity is a must.
  • You must be comfortable with technology and an independent user of web, mobile or desktop applications - especially tools for collaboration (Such as Teams, Confluence, Slack) and productivity (MS Office, Outlook, Apple keynote etc).
  • Any further technical skills such as Programming (OOP, Java, C#), Web or Mobile App Development, Project Management methods and tools (Scrum, Jira), Data Representation Tools (Power BI, Google Data Studio. Tableau etc.) will be considered a major advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek & English (Written & Spoken).
  • Outstanding client service skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
