QA Engineer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a large Group of Companies with diverse business interests, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and well-qualified candidate for the position of QA Engineer to be based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will possess 2+ years of experience in Quality and Revenue Assurance and speak excellent, fluent English.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Taking part in departments everyday QA processes, which include test planning, system testing, test automation, troubleshooting and support activities.
- Creating Test Cases and Test Reports.
- Communicating with internal development teams regarding requirements clarifications and quality expectations.
- Testing internal procedures.
- Estimating risks and testing efforts.
- Executing test cases across all functional areas of our products.
- Creating a detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test setup, test plan and test cases.
- Reporting Bugs.
- Analysing specifications.
Key Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in Quality and Revenue Assurance.
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal).
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- High analytical skills.
- Knowledge in SQL/MySQL.
- Knowledge in Python.
- Understanding of development processes.
- Strong knowledge of different testing methods and techniques.
- Experience in API testing.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Good attention to details.
- Willingness to take responsibility and show initiatives.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Self-motivated proactive personality with a positive attitude.
- Good problem-solving skills.
