Client Accountant
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting Services to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a highly capable and self-motivated Client Accountant to join their expanding team of professionals based in Larnaca. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience and be fluent in both Greek and English.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping of client’s transactions.
- Maintain proper books and records for clients.
- Preparation of VAT returns and handle VAT issues.
- Preparation of payroll and social contribution payments/compliance.
- Preparation of tax returns (income tax, defence tax).
- Provide financial information and other reports to the clients.
- Liaise with tax authorities and banks for clients affairs.
- Reporting results of work performed to Director/Manager.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University degree with grade 2:1 or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Holder of or be in the process of pursuing a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA) would be considered an advantage.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in VAT laws, regulations and circulars.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in social insurance contributions laws and payroll administration.
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken), fluent knowledge of the Russian language would be considered an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
