CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established provider of Corporate Services with offices in Larnaca, we are seeking to recruit a suitably well-qualified and experienced Assistant Accountant to join their expanding team of professionals. The successful applicant will ideally be a holder of the LCCI Higher qualification and have 2+ years of previous experience providing bookkeeping services to International Clients.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 
  • Electronic and hard copy filing of any kind of accounting, corporate and banking documents.
  • Posting of accounting entries in accounting software.
  • VAT reconciliations.
  • Assessing agreements for any tax or VAT implications.
  • Completion of tax and VAT forms.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Communicate with clients either by telephone or e-mails.
  • Liaise with the audit/corporate departments.
  • Liaise with government authorities.
 
Key Skills/Experience:
 
  • LCCI Higher or CAT diploma in accounting.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the field of accounting preferably of international clients.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills in the English Language.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Basic Knowledge of applying VAT to international clients.
  • Basic Knowledge of the Cyprus Tax Legislation.
  • Knowledge of SOFIA and CYCOM accounting Software will be considered as an advantage.
