Production Assembler
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Electrical Engineering company with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Production Assembler to join their expanding team of professionals.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of assembly operations using drawings, BOM’s and production orders to assemble modules, boards, panels and cables.
- Uses small hand tools such as needle nose cutters, desoldering tools, tweezers, brushes, screwdrivers, clippers and wire strippers.
- Identifies various electronic and mechanical components to ensure proper material handling.
- Follows established safety and quality procedures and acts in compliance with ISO 9000 and 14000.
- Responsible for in-process quality issues, and addresses them to the production supervisor and quality supervisor.
- Follows company’s policies, procedures and rules.
- Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and endures duties of high quality standards at all times.
Key Skills/Experience:
- High School Leaving Certificate or Technical School graduate.
- Good eye/hand coordination.
- Team spirit; must be able to work well with others.
- Good PC skills.
- Knowledge of the English language will be considered an asset.
