Software Developer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established R&D company specialising in software for telecommunications-related applications with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and technically competent Software Developer to join their expanding team of professionals.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- API & Component design and implementation.
- Define network communication and proprietary protocols.
- Take leadership of Software-related projects and mentor Junior Developers.
- Gather Software product requirements.
- Integrate third party SW into our clients' product and evaluate and improve suppliers offering.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Object oriented programming knowledge.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in C++ or C.
- Cross-platform development.
- Multi-threaded/multi process development.
- Understanding of network protocols.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Deep understanding of Linux will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
- Database design knowledge will be considered a plus.
- Mobile telecommunication experience will be considered a plus.
