CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ largest and most well-respected providers of Corporate & Professional Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Payroll Consultant to join their growing team based in the heart of Nicosia. As a Payroll Consultant, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for multiple clients, ensuring full compliance with Cyprus payroll legislation and statutory requirements. Our client is seeking applicants who possess approximately 1+ years of relevant payroll experience in Cyprus, with any experience in a professional services or multi-client environment considered an advantage. Good knowledge of Cyprus payroll regulations, including PAYE, Social Insurance and GHS is essential, and experience using payroll software/systems for end-to-end payroll processing is a must. Our client offers a highly attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience including a 13th Salary, Provident Fund, Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Hybrid Working, and Friday afternoon’s off.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Process monthly payroll for multiple client entities.
  • Perform gross-to-net salary calculations.
  • Calculate and submit PAYE, Social Insurance, GHS, Redundancy Fund, HRDA and other statutory contributions.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual payroll reports (including Employer’s Return – TD7).
  • Prepare reconciliations and payroll summaries.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and termination payroll calculations.
  • Respond to client payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Cyprus tax and employment legislation.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • Approximately 1+ years of relevant payroll experience in Cyprus.
  • Experience in a professional services or multi-client environment will be considered an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Cyprus payroll regulations (PAYE, Social Insurance, GHS).
  • Experience using payroll software/systems for end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organised, reliable and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Client-oriented with good communication skills.
