CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an international leader in the hospitality and hotel management industry, with regional offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Finance Administrator, you will assist the Finance Administration of the organization by supporting with records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or another relevant field, who possess approximately 2+ years of experience in a relevant position. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of accounting and online banking software is essential, and fluency in both verbal and written English is a must. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, Medical Insurance and Pension Plan.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist the Finance Administration of the organization by supporting with records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including daily transactions, accounts payable and receivable and general ledger entries.
  • Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented, categorized and filed.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Checking and recording the daily reports of the ships and the cruise balance report.
  • Monthly preparing and processing of the invoices for the Hotel Ships.
  • Recording of invoices, VAT and other financial documents.
  • Recording and checking all sales on board, expenses, pax, cashbook transactions etc. of the cruises and compiling the end statements.
  • Making financial reports and stock count reports.
  • Assisting with special financial projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

  • A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or another closely related field is desirable.
  • Approximately 2+ years of experience in a relevant position.
  • A collaborative spirit and a knack for teamwork.
  • Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of accounting and online banking software.
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written (Dutch and/or German is a plus).
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and integrity.
  • A curious mindset, eager to learn and develop new skills.
